Advanced PRP (Exosomes): Regenerative Therapy in Knightsbridge, London
What Is Advanced PRP (Exosomes)?
Advanced PRP (Exosomes) builds on our established PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) protocol. Using the same blood-draw process you may already know from PRP, we isolate and concentrate the platelet-derived exosomes — a more concentrated fraction of your platelets’ natural signalling material — for use in your treatment.
Because the process works entirely within your own biology, no donor tissue, synthetic material, or foreign substance is introduced at any stage.
Exosomes are naturally occurring nanoscale particles released by cells throughout the body, including platelets. They are understood to play a role in cell-to-cell communication, carrying proteins and signalling molecules that are thought to support the body’s natural repair processes. Research into their use in aesthetic and regenerative medicine is active and evolving.
The Autologous Advantage
The exosome market includes a range of commercially produced products derived from donor sources — including umbilical cord tissue, adipose cells, and plant extracts. At Vita Renewal Aesthetics, Advanced PRP (Exosomes) uses only autologous material — prepared from your own blood on the day of your appointment. This matters for several reasons:
• Prepared from your own blood, with no donor or synthetic material introduced
• Significantly reduces the likelihood of immune reaction, as your body recognises its own biological material
• Personalised to your own biology rather than a standardised commercial product
• Not subject to the batch-to-batch variability associated with commercially manufactured exosome products
Prepared under the same well-established clinical framework that governs autologous blood-derived treatments such as PRP in the UK
What Advanced PRP (Exosomes) May Support

• The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
• Skin elasticity and firmness
• Uneven skin tone and texture

• Recovery support following hair transplant procedures, as part of your surgeon’s aftercare plan
Advanced PRP (Exosomes) is a regenerative wellness treatment. It is not a guaranteed cure or medical treatment for any diagnosed skin or scalp condition, and it is not suitable for every concern. Individual suitability, and what is realistically achievable, is assessed and discussed at consultation.
What to Expect
Consultation
All Advanced PRP
(Exosomes) treatments begin with a thorough consultation. Your practitioner
will assess your skin or scalp, review your medical history, discuss your
goals, and confirm your suitability.
The Treatment
A small blood
draw is taken from your arm, as with standard PRP. Your sample is then
processed using our specialist equipment to isolate and concentrate the
platelet-derived exosomes. The final preparation — produced entirely from your
own blood — is applied to the treatment area by injection or microneedling,
depending on the indication and your practitioner’s assessment.
Treatment time is
typically 60 to 90 minutes including preparation. No general anaesthetic is
required. A topical numbing cream is applied prior to injection.
After Your Treatment
Most clients
experience minimal downtime. You may notice mild redness or sensitivity at the
treatment site for 24 to 48 hours, which typically resolves without
intervention. Sun exposure and strenuous exercise should be avoided for 48
hours following treatment.
A course of
treatments is often recommended for hair restoration and more significant skin
concerns; your practitioner will advise on timing at consultation.
What Results Can You Expect?
Advanced PRP (Exosomes) is a regenerative treatment field that continues to develop, and individual results vary depending on biology, lifestyle, and the concern being addressed. Results are not immediate — where they occur, they reflect a gradual biological process rather than an instant or guaranteed outcome.
Many clients report improvements in skin texture and radiance, and in hair and scalp condition, over a course of treatment — but results cannot be promised for any individual. Your practitioner will give you a realistic, honest assessment of what may be achievable in your specific case at consultation, including the current evidence base for this treatment.
Risks & Contraindications
Because Advanced PRP (Exosomes) uses only your own blood, the risk profile is generally lower than treatments involving synthetic or donor-derived materials. However, as with all injectable and microneedling treatments, some risks exist, and full disclosure is part of your consultation.
Possible Side Effects
• Temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site — typically resolving within 48 hours
• Mild tenderness or sensitivity in the treated area
• Rarely, small areas of temporary skin irritation
Advanced PRP (Exosomes) Is Not Suitable If You:
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have a blood disorder, platelet dysfunction, or are taking anticoagulant medication
• Have an active infection, inflammation, or skin condition at the treatment site
• Have a history of certain autoimmune conditions — to be discussed at consultation
• Have very low platelet counts or anaemia
• Are undergoing active cancer treatment
A full medical history review is conducted at every consultation. As with any emerging regenerative therapy, the long-term evidence base continues to develop, and your practitioner will discuss this openly with you.

FAQ
Many exosome treatments use commercially manufactured products derived from donor or plant sources. Advanced PRP (Exosomes) at Vita Renewal Aesthetics uses only your own platelet-derived exosomes, prepared from your blood at the time of your appointment.
Advanced PRP (Exosomes) follows the same blood-draw process as standard PRP, with an additional step to isolate a concentrated fraction of platelet-derived exosomes. Your practitioner can advise whether standard PRP or the advanced protocol is more appropriate for your goals at consultation.
This depends on your specific concern and goals. Your practitioner will give you a personalised recommendation at consultation; a course of two to three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is typically discussed for more significant concerns.
Discomfort is minimal. A topical anaesthetic cream is applied before injection. Most clients describe a mild pressure sensation only.
Where improvements occur, they tend to develop gradually over the weeks and months following treatment as part of a natural biological process. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed — your practitioner will discuss realistic timelines with you at consultation.
Yes. Advanced PRP (Exosomes) can be combined with RF Microneedling, HIFU, and our other regenerative treatments. Combination approaches are discussed at consultation and tailored to your individual treatment plan.
